Relevant Experience:

Michael regularly undertakes his own advocacy in the Employment Tribunal and has appeared before the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Michael acts for many well-known companies, organisations and individuals. Michael provides legal advice and support on the range of problems faced by employers and their employees, offering practical and cost-effective solutions.

Career:

  • Michael joined Gregsons as a trainee solicitor in 1993 and is the partner responsible for the firm’s Employment Department.
  • Michael has appeared on television as a “guest” legal advisor and prior to joining Gregsons worked as a barrister’s clerk.

Interests:

Michael is a trustee of a school charitable trust and a school governor. Michael has played water polo at county level and enjoys mountains, skiing and cooking though not at the same time.

Memberships:

Michael is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, as well as the Law Society.

Education:

After a spell at Art College, Michael took a Law Degree LLB (Hons) before qualifying as a solicitor.
